Your privacy is important to me. I am committed to always protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. Your personal data will be kept safe and will be only used for the purpose for which it has been given.

Corresponding with you and recording communications about services/information e.g. time, place, dates.
To provide the best possible counselling service to you considering your individual needs.
How I store your data:
I keep a record of your personal details to help my counselling service run smoothly. This data is collected securely via my practice management software, Kiku (www.wearekiku.com), and stored on here securely. It is fully encrypted and password protected. I am the only person with access to this. If the case of my death or sudden incapacitation my Clinical Executor, who is my supervisor, will be granted access to my account so that they can inform all clients of the situation and if necessary ensure secure destruction of your data.
Notes are taken after each session as a requirement of my insurance. I am the only person with access to these, and these are stored on the secure practice management software.
Once counselling has ended, I will keep your data/notes for 7 years as required by GDPR. Once this time has lapsed I will securely delete all data/notes.

You have the right to request that I correct or update any personal information you believe is inaccurate.
You have the right to ask me to complete any personal information you believe is incomplete.
Under certain circumstances you have the right to request that I erase your personal data.

Under certain circumstances you have the right to object to me processing your personal data.
Under certain conditions you have the right to request the transfer of your personal data to another organisation, or directly to you.
